  • Unprimed plastic
  • Bare aluminium (you will need a suitable etch primer)
  • Untreated galvanised steel (Mordant solution first)
  • A hot surface that reaches above 106 degrees (C) (you will need high temperature paints)

Concrete Floor Cleaner Acid Etch is a cost-effective and efficient alternative to diamond grinding or track blasting for cleaning and preparing dirty or contaminated concrete floors prior to painting. It is specifically designed to remove surface contaminants, ensuring optimal adhesion and long-lasting performance of your chosen floor coating.

Directions for Use:

  1. Application: Mop the solution evenly onto the floor.
  2. Dwell Time: Allow the product to work for 2–4 hours. During this time, the floor will bubble, indicating that the acid etch is effectively breaking down surface contaminants.
  3. Rinse Thoroughly: Wash off the product completely with water. Ensure all residue is removed to avoid interference with subsequent coatings.
  4. Drying: Allow the floor to dry completely, which may take approximately 2–4 days depending on environmental conditions.
