Description

Description

T Wash / Mordant Solution is specifically formulated for use on galvanised steel to neutralise the salts present in the galvanising process, allowing paint coatings to adhere properly. This preparation step ensures optimal adhesion for subsequent paint layers, improving the durability and performance of the finished surface.

Coverage: 60-70 square meters per 5 liters.

Directions for Use:

  1. Apply the solution to galvanised steel using a brush, watering can, or rag.
  2. Allow the solution to sit for 1-2 hours; the galvanising will turn black as it reacts.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
  4. Let the surface dry completely.
  5. Once dry, apply a suitable primer, and after 12-24 hours, follow with the application of your top coat for the best results.
